Notarized Documents
It is preferable for corporations to obtain apostilles from their local Secretary of State.
(Click here for a list of the Secretaries of State).
In urgent cases US Legalization will apostille these corporate documents from the Maryland Secretary of State. Document must be signed and notarized by a local notary public. The name of the signer should be printed on the document.
US Legalization will certify the document, notarize this certification from a MD notary public, the MD Circuit Court and apostille it from the MD Secretary of State.

Recently Ecuador provided the option of certifying the apostilled document from their embassy.
According to the Hague Convention, to use a document in Ecuador legally, all that is required is the apostille.
